Signing in to Shotfolio

Shotfolio uses your existing Google or Microsoft account to sign in, so there's no separate Shotfolio password to create, remember, or reset.

How to sign in

1. Go to the sign-in page.
2. Choose Google or Microsoft.
3. Approve the sign-in with your provider, and you'll land on your dashboard.

The first time you sign in, your Shotfolio account is created automatically. After that, the same button signs you back in.

Why there's no password

Shotfolio never sees or stores a password — your identity provider (Google or Microsoft) handles that. That means fewer credentials to manage and the security settings you already use, like two-factor authentication, carry over.

Use the same provider each time. Signing in with Google and later with Microsoft creates two separate accounts, even with the same email address.

Early access

Shotfolio is in a small early-access phase, so accounts are cleared one at a time. If sign-in is denied, that's what happened — the screen has a Join the waitlist link. Sign up with the same address you tried to sign in with and we'll open it up for you.

Invited collaborators are the exception: if a photographer has invited you into one of their galleries, that invite lets you sign in and create an account without waiting. See Shoot a gallery with a teammate.

Trouble signing in

• Make sure you're choosing the provider you signed up with.
• If you were invited to a gallery, sign in with the exact address the invite was sent to — invites are tied to one email address.
